This week, my dad was told about an awesome site that has some really cool "flash" things - kinda like a slide show with music and neat techie stuff. They're Christian, and each one is a collage of things like Bible verses from the psalms, or (one of my faves) a "letter" from God to you, his child.
My absolute favorite, though, is one called "An Irish blessing" it has these lovely pictures of Ireland, and the words that fade in and out are the lyrics of a traditional Irish blessing.
I've placed the link to the "flash" below, but if you are interested, here are the words of the blessing:
[Edit, 7-14-2011: In the interest of no longer having a million page views for this particular post every month, I've taken out the words. You can watch the video and get them. :)]
Beautiful, isn't it? but to get the full experience, check out the like - oh, and make sure your sound is turned up on your computer, because the music to this thing is half its charm.
Anyway, enjoy!

Hey Trav,
Yes, it is a beautiful blessing. I have learned over the years that you seldom grow when things are going your way, but only when you are tried by circumstances. I never wish for you to have insurmountable problems, but everyone has low points in their life, and it just makes them appreciate all the more the mountain top experiences. We are the strongest on our knees, leaving the really big problems at our Lords feet. Just try not to pull them back like your gram does sometimes.
Love ya
Gram
Thanks, Gram!
Gram,
How come you get so wise now, after we're long gone?! Maybe I just didn't pay attention earlier, ya think?
Da
(Since we're going with this Irish/shortened name thing)
Well, Da (Daniel Amos? LOL, I'm sure she has always been wise. But you didn;t have a blog for her to prove it on then. LOL
